The Kickstart curriculum is a well-rounded program that includes both basic and advanced studies, divided into Server and Frontend technologies tracks. Program participants go through group code reviews and build exciting projects. But that’s not all! You’ll also be guided by Wix Engineering experts from a variety of fields. We’ll cover subjects such as Git, JavaScript and React for Frontend devs, Scala and Node for Backend devs, and much more. Additionally, you’ll get hands-on experience with all the internal Wix tools that are specifically designed to make the development experience easier and more efficient.

The program is designed for junior software engineers who want to be part of Wix and join our engineering journey. We’re looking for open-minded applicants, who are passionate about software development, eager to learn, and are not afraid to make mistakes and learn from them. Remember, not getting accepted to the Kickstart program isn’t the end of the road. At Wix, we always keep our doors wide open. From day one, you’re not just part of Kickstart - you’re a Wix employee. During the Kickstart learning experience, you'll also take part in activities which will help you feel fully immersed in the Wix culture - and what a fun culture we have here :)

Kickstart participants are expected to contribute to the program’s collaborative environment. You should be eager to learn – not just from our Kickstart team, but also from your peers. We  expect you to take advantage of mentoring and feedback opportunities we provide, and make sure to attend weekly individual meetings with the Kickstart staff.
